Really nice ! Sorry but doesn't work here, did I mess something? I have replaced SArtFile.bin to /System/Library/PrivateFrameworks/CoreUI.framework/Resources and Extras2.rsrc to /System/Library/Frameworks/Carbon.framework/Frameworks/HIToolbox.framework/Resources like it's proposed by the links in the ZIP
NOTIC :: you cant replace ! it ... because this file in use on system but you can delete it ! and this file cant delete from TRASH too ! you must Restart your system then you can delete file on trash ... !!!!!
The SArtFile.bin file contains the graphics that are used to render the menubar in OS X, among other GUI elements. In Lion, it should be contained in the folder /System/Library/PrivateFrameworks/CoreUI.framework/Resources . The general process of applying the theme is to move the modded SArtFile.bin to the folder to that Resources folder. Here are some instructions to go about this:
More GUI-centric way: Open Finder. On your keyboard, press CMD+Shift+G; this will invoke a pop-up that looks something like this: [link] .
In the text box, enter "/System/Library/PrivateFrameworks/CoreUI.framework/Resources" without the quotes. Click Go.
Backup SArtFile.bin by copying and pasting it.
Then, in another Finder window, navigate to where you extracted this menubar theme. In each folder of the menubar theme, you'll find SArtFile.bin. Choose one you'd like to use (I chose ProBlue). Copy the SArtFile.bin in the directory of the menubar theme and then paste it in /System/Library/PrivateFrameworks/CoreUI.framework/Resources. You may be prompted for your administrator password.
Hope that helps; sorry if it's a bit confusing. I'm working on a Cocoa app and also a wiki to act as a resource for new Mac OS X themers.
