HOW TO :

Run Adium and go preferncess/Appearance;

Select WINDOW STYLE with BORDERLESS WINDOW

Select COLOR THEME and CUSTOMIZE

Go to First tab (Window) Click BACKGROUND IMAGE and CHOOSE your choice.

It's just a background image which you'll have to "lay over" in the skin settings of Adium.

Go to Adium - Preference - Appearance
then below: under theme klick the "adjust" or "edit" button (sorry, my version is German).
There you can chose the png as a background image. Adjust the settings a bit so it fits and voilá, there you go.

Please know that this is just a static image and the "online" in the image will stay as "online". Won't change to online/offline according to status, etc.
